transit life time are highly dependent on variety, ripeness duration as well as origin of the products.
Perishable products shipments - Check list preparations :
(1) The transport time and the volume of the shipment,
(2) The humidity and fresh air ventilation requirements (in CBM per hour),
(3) The optimal temperature requirement ( in F ),
(4) The packaging material and cartons used,
(5) The recommended stowage plan,
(6) Any shipping documents required including export/import permit, legal documents, etc.
